Since 1994, hundreds of artists in a variety of disciplines have lived and worked at Rimbun Dahan, in residencies from 2 weeks to 12 months. 46 artists were in residence for a whole year, as part of the Yearlong Residencies for Visual Artists. Many other artists from Southeast Asia, Australia and beyond, including painters, sculptors, poets, authors, performance artists, and choreographers, as well as environmental conservation researchers, have also found inspiration during shorter residencies at Rimbun Dahan.
